AWS Summit Berlin
Date: February 26-27, 2019
Location: Berlin, Germany
The AWS Summit in Berlin is a two-day event where technologists come together in Germany to connect and learn about Amazon Web Services (AWS). This popular summit is focused on how the cloud is helping businesses perform crucial tasks every single day.
The summit covered two different topics on those two days. On the first day, February 26, we attneded sessions focused on taking a general look at the AWS services, including best practices, important service features, as well as demos to help new attendees get a good grasp of the topic.
The second day, on February 27, we went more deeply into the topics, with business owners discussing how they’ve successfully used the cloud to help power their operations across various devices, services, and implementations.
Keynote speakers included Amazon’s CTO, Dr. Werner Vogels and AWS DACH’s General Manager, Klaus Burg. The GPSWOX team gained a lot of valuable insights from each speaker, whether how to improve our business operations to provide a much more fluid experience for the customer, or to improve our customer services and offerings so that users can see and experience the real benefit of the cloud in their everyday lives.
We are eager to return next year to learn even more valuable lessons.
